Watercolor Wednesdays: The Art of Journaling with Michael Haun
Two Class Series | June 3 & 10, 6:00-8:00 PM
Designed to introduce and deepen your watercolor journaling practice, this immersive experience explores sketching, storytelling, and technique while encouraging you to slow down and capture the world around you with intention. In the first session, Michael will guide you through the foundations of watercolor journaling, covering tools, composition, scaling your work, sketching, and working with pens and paints, while also exploring the heart of the practice—storytelling. The second session brings everything together as you refine your storytelling, strengthen compositions, and begin developing your own personal journaling style.
Each participant will receive a thoughtfully curated watercolor journaling kit, including brushes, pens, watercolor paints, a journal, paper, and essential tools, all packaged in a compact pouch—everything you need to begin journaling on the go. Students will also gain access to an optional Office Hours Session (date announced during class) for additional guidance, questions, and one-on-one feedback. This series is perfect for anyone wanting to deepen their creativity, capture meaningful moments, and build a portable, lifelong creative practice.
Tuesday Tiles: Mahjong Beginner Series
Tuesdays in June | 11:00AM–1:00PM
Learn American Mahjong in a fun, welcoming setting with a 3-class beginner series hosted at Anne Neilson Fine Art. No experience needed. All sets, materials, and instruction are provided. Each session is $65.

- June 16: Mahj’N 102 (Rules & Guided Play)
- June 23: Mahj’N Play (Confidence & Strategy)
We recommend at least 2 lessons to fully learn the game.
