Nikki Oliver is a collage artist living and working in her native city of Charlotte, North Carolina. She combines found and recyclable materials, archival paper, acrylic paint, and various pencils and markers to design intimate collages. With her vague imagery and abstract settings, she connects past experiences and thoughts to human relationships.
Nikki received her BA in Art History from Queens University of Charlotte in 2013. She attributes her formal artistic training to Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, where she studied visual art and attended the Airy Knoll Arts Project summer sessions from 2013-2018. She is currently an MA student in History and Public History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
