CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’

Mar 28, 14

A few weeks ago I headed out to sunny California with my daughter Blakely for her Spring Break. That was the second time going out there in the past month and I sure could get used to the warm weather!

NEW PALETTE, NEW COLORS

Feb 26, 14

Working on new paintings for Spring. These paintings will be featured in my newest book coming out this Fall – Strokes of Compassion. I continue to be overwhelmed and blessed by the testimonies and stories from collectors near and far and the demand for paintings – large and small. I am finding pockets of time in the studio to work in front of my easel – mixing paints and creating ethereal angelic paintings.  Stay tuned for new work from the Angel Series.

GALLERY OPENING: MAY 1, 2014

Dec 2, 13

We are thrilled to announce that construction is coming along on our new gallery and that we’ll celebrate with an Opening Reception Thursday May 1, 2014! Anne Neilson Fine Art will occupy a ground-floor space at Dilworth Artisan Station in Charlotte’s Historic South End, adjacent to Darnell and Company, in Suite 16.

Gallery Director: Elise Bainbridge

elise-150As Gallery Director for Anne Neilson Fine Art, Elise Bainbridge blends her love of art with her innate ability to build long standing relationships with her clients and the artists the gallery represents. Discerning art collectors seeking high quality investments in fine art can feel confident that they are receiving the utmost attention they deserve. Equally important, Elise is passionate about discovering emerging and mid-career artists whose works communicate a compelling story.

A lover of art since her childhood, Elise furthered her appreciation of the form and understanding of its techniques during her secondary education taking classes with Andy Braitman, a renowned Charlotte artist. Upon graduation from Appalachian State University with a BA in Finance and a minor in Studio Art, Elise traveled to South Korea where she taught English to elementary age children. After returning to Charlotte in 2011, Elise spent 2-1/2 years as a Senior Sales Consultant at the Southpark women’s clothing and accessories boutique, Capitol.

In 2013, Elise met and became friends with artist and gallery owner, Anne Neilson. Sharing a common passion for fine art and entrepreneurship, a business relationship ensued with Anne hiring Elise as the Director of the new gallery. As Gallery Director, Elise researches, selects and handles all logistics for art exhibitions and acquisitions. In addition, her responsibilities include sales, marketing, public relations, and operations of the gallery.

Elise shares Anne Neilson’s vision for establishing a fine art gallery where: renowned national and international artists are given elevated exposure to Charlotte’s thriving art community; private, public and corporate art collectors receive an excellent customer experience; and opportunities are realized for giving back to the local and national community at-large.

Represented Artists

We will represent over 30 esteemed national and international artists, a list that continues to grow! We can’t wait to share these beautiful works with art collectors in the Charlotte region!
